Come On, Katy Parents, Hug Your Kids Today and Saturday!
Parents…Bring your kids, young and old, to the Farmers Market at LaCenterra for a special event this Saturday, August 2, 2008. A photo of parents hugging their kids will be taken.
Michelle Nichols, author of Hug Your Kids Today will include the photo of Katy parents hugging their kids on her website to help promote the annual “Hug Your Kids Today” National Event.
For the photo, all the parents will hug their kids at the same time. This is not a group hug! Please arrive a little before 10 a.m; the photo will be taken at 10:15 a.m.
Former Katy mother and businesswoman, Michelle Nichols had her own sales column on BusinessWeek.com for 6 years. She recently left that job and started the “Hug Your Kids Today” project in memory of her son Mark who died suddenly from brain cancer 10 years ago. He was 8 1/2 years old.
Ms. Nichols will be available to sell and autograph her new book, Hug Your Kids Today! 5 Key Lessons for Every Working Parent, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Her book is also available on Amazon.com or at www.HugYourKidsToday.com.
